New academic article on employee experience satisfaction in the cruise sector after the COVID-19 pandemic, carried out in collaboration between three professors from EUM and two researchers from the Department of Business, former students of the Double Degree in Tourism and Marketing.
The academic publication Revista de Estudios Empresariales. Segunda época. has published in its issue 2024(1) (January 2024) the article entitled “Job satisfaction and COVID-19: the case of the cruise industry” (https://revistaselectronicas.ujaen.es/index.php/REE/article/view/8132), written by Professor Dr. Óscar Gutiérrez Aragón, Professor. Dr. Josep-Maria Espinet-Rovira and Professor Dr. Ariadna Gassiot-Melian (until last year, member of the University faculty) and the researchers of the Department of Business Aroa Pérez-Muñoz and Anna Ribas-Boadella, former students of the Double Degree in Tourism and Marketing at EUM.
The main objective of the research carried out is to find out the level of satisfaction with the employee experience in the cruise sector and how it has changed after the COVID-19 pandemic. It also analyses the motivations of cruise ship employees, investigating the possible differences that may exist depending on their origin, job position, salary level and other relevant variables.
