EUM hosts the 6th MEHMED consortium meeting
This 5 and 6 July 2022, at the Escola Universitaria Mediterrani we had the pleasure to host the 6th MEHMED consortium meeting (Mediterranean Environmental Change Master Study and Ecosystem Building).
The event organized by Dr. Anita Geiszinger, Project Manager and the Project Coordinator, Dr. Josep Vila Subiros from the University of Girona, brings together 14 centres and universities and aims to implement a Master in relation to climate change in eight universities in the Maghreb (Bordj Bou Arreridj, Mostaganem, Monastir, Sousse, Mohammed Premier Oujda, Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah, Abdelmalek Essaadi).
Several universities are participating in this event, such as the Sorbonne University (Paris) and the Università di Sassari (Alghero). The meeting organized in EUM has allowed the follow-up and a balance of the Masters implemented in the Mediterranean arc. Our institution, aware of the environmental issues and the importance of the MEHMED project for our common future, has been pleased to contribute to the success of this meeting.
