Sponsorship of young Spanish elite sportsmen and women

New academic article on the sponsorship of young Spanish elite athletes, carried out from the collaboration of two EUM professors with a researcher from the Department of Business, a former student of the Degree in Marketing.

The academic publication Obra Digital has published in its 24th issue (December 2023) the article entitled “Sponsorship as a conditioning factor in the development of the careers of Spanish elite athletes. Inequalities by gender and type of sport” (https://revistesdigitals.uvic.cat/index.php/obradigital/article/view/371), written by Professor Dr. Óscar Gutiérrez Aragón, Professor Dr. Joan Francesc Fondevila Gascón and the researcher of the Department of Business Alba Gracia Conde, a former student of the EUM Degree in Marketing.

The main objective of the research carried out is to determine the impact that sponsorship has on the success of the athlete, determining the differences according to gender, discipline or country where the profession is practised.
