PRESENTATION IN MEDITERRANI OF MR. PATRICK TORRENT, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE ACT

The Executive Director of the Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT), Mr. Patrick Torrent, has made an interesting presentation in the classrooms of the Mediterrani University School, center attached to the UdG, on Wednesday, November 8. In this presentation, addressed to the students of 3rd year of the Degree in Tourism, he explained the strategic plan of the Catalan Tourism Agency and how this plan aims to make compatible two major objectives such as competitiveness and sustainability of the Catalan tourism sector. We must remember that Catalonia receives more than 25 million tourists annually and that the Mission of the Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) is to contribute to the prosperity of Catalonia and its tourism sector, being its voice abroad, focusing on the recruitment and satisfaction of a tourism with more added value. At the end of the lecture, an interesting question-and-answer session was opened where the students of EU Mediterrani, future managers of tourism in our country, participated.
