TEACHERS FROM EU MEDITERRANI PRESENT THE 2020 REPORT ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND LABOR SITUATION OF THE VETERINARY SECTOR IN SPAIN

Researchers Ariadna Gassiot Melian, PhD and Óscar Gutiérrez Aragón, PhD university degree professors at the Escola Universitària Mediterrani, a centre attached to the University of Girona, present this interesting report once it has been completed and which can be consulted in its full version at this link. A report that investigates the generational and gender labor gap of the veterinary sector in Spain and that in these conclusions indicates that a reduction to 10 % of the veterinary VAT tax, which is currently 21 %, could reduce some of the harmful economic and labor effects and health that are produced today since it would allow a substantial part of the consumption or expenditure of the clients of veterinary services that today is used in payment of the tax to be transferred to remuneration of work or capital.
