THE EU MEDITERRANI TOURISM DEPARTMENT VISITS THE 2020 FITUR TOURISM FAIR

Thanks to the presence of the Department of Tourism of EU Mediterrani, led by Professor Iratxe Aragón, we have been able to attend the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that has been held from 22 to 26 of January in Madrid, with the aim of expanding our network of companies collaboratories to continue offering our students the best internships and work offers with the most prestigious companies in the tourism sector.

This year FITUR has celebrated its 40th edition and there has been a great participation by the sector that together with the good forecasts of the tourism industry have made it continue to be the great international reference event of the tourism sector.

Sustainability, technology, innovation and specialization have been the main axes of FITUR. An event that has evolved in recent years and that presented very interesting proposals such as: FiturNext, Observatory on Tourism Trends, FiturTech, Forum on Innovation and Tourism Technology, or Fitur Talent, a new space at FITUR that emphasizes people, their talent, skills and professional training, as an axis of competitiveness in the present and future from the global tourism industry, where we have attended interesting conferences, debates and presentations that help us analyze the needs of the sector and continue working aligned with them.

As usual, we will continue to attend all tourism-related events throughout the year, waiting for the next edition of FITUR to return to Madrid.
