The Institut d’Estudis Catalans has awarded this week the Sant Jordi 2020 Awards, which distinguish works and researchers from all areas of Catalan science and culture. This year, the IEC award from the Eduard Fontserè Science and Technology Section for Physical Sciences has been awarded to the professor of the Escola Universitària Mediterrani, centre attached to the UdG, in the degree of logistics, PhD Sergi González, for his doctoral thesis on Mesoscalar Precipitations and Circulations in Complex Orography Areas.
