The second Marketing Day in Catalan has probably been postponed for the month of October 2020.

Following the indications and recommendations of the Health Department of the Generalitat of Catalonia, we inform that the second edition of the Marketing Day in Catalan is postponed. The desire of both the Escuela Universitaria Mediterrani, a center attached to the University of Girona, and the agency, is that the event can be held before the end of this year 2020. Voting for companies that are eligible for the Tarannà 2020 Prize they have almost a thousand votes, and will continue to be active during these months. We follow the evolution of the pandemic and work to find new specific dates in this second edition of the Marketing Day in Catalan.

The second Day of Marketing in Catalan (JMC) takes root strongly and changes location. The edeon communication and marketing agency and the Mediterrani University School (center attached to the University of Girona) have reached an agreement to join forces and continue promoting the meeting of Catalan marketing professionals.

In the previous edition, held at the headquarters of ESADE CREAPOLIS in Sant Cugat del Vallès, it was sponsored by the Fundació.cat and the collaboration of companies and entities such as; La Brava, Frit Ravich, Sant Cugat Empresarial, La Fageda, EU Mediterrani, CECABLE and Plataroma per La Llengua. A hundred people gathered who listened to the presentations of Miguel Centeno, Sponsorship Manager Marketing of the SPORT newspaper, in José Luis Blanco, former athlete and president of Club La Sansi, in Marco Biosca, technician of the business area of ​​Plataforma per la Llengua the general director of Amat Inmobiliarios, Guifré Homedes, and the director of Marketing of Agrofresc, Anna Rúbia

With the aim of continuing to normalize the presence of Catalan to companies, and especially to marketing and communication campaigns, the organizers are already finalizing the grill with the speakers of this second edition.

“We are closing papers with reference companies that can share successful cases of marketing strategies in Catalan. We want to show that in Catalonia, campaigning in Catalan is possible and profitable, ”explains Lluís Feliu, marketing director of the edeon agency and one of the promoters of the JMC. Tarannà Award 2020 :

For the second consecutive year, the deputy director of RAC1 and RAC105, Jofre Llombart, will deliver the award to the company that according to edeon professionals, UdG teachers and EU marketing students Mediterrani normalizes and uses Catalan more effectively in their Marketing campaings. Girona’s Konig, a catering company with a fortnight of establishments, was the winner of the ‘Tarannà 2019’ award during the first edition of the JMC. The winners of the Tarannà Award are companies that have been selected taking into account different criteria such as: web portal, presence in social networks, product labeling, projection, solidarity actions, advertising, signage and customer service.
